We are thrilled to announce that Surprise, our enchanting 7-year-old American Miniature Horse born in 2016 in Oregon, has found her forever home. As our smallest gal, Surprise has certainly lived up to her name, embodying one of the biggest personalities around the barn. This special pony, reminiscent of a medicine hat horse—a type revered by Native Americans for its magical qualities—has captivated hearts everywhere she goes.

Surprise is a true professional, always ready to stand for the farrier, hop right up into a trailer, and she is up-to-date on all her health maintenance, including a negative coggins/EIA test. She’s not only comfortable around motorcycles, bikes, dogs, and goats but also loves entertaining at events like the North Idaho Fair and numerous birthday parties, where she’s a favorite for giving rides to children.

Her unique coloring and magical presence have made her a living unicorn, cherished and protected just as sacred animals were in the past.
