Need a Sunny Moment “Twix”

Meet Twix, officially registered as Need a Sunny Moment! Her mother, Sunshine stands 39" tall and her father, Lord Winter is 11.1 hands or 44.4" (pictured in last photo being ridden bareback by a 13 year old). Twix is the embodiment of her name, bringing light and joy wherever she goes. This little star was born to shine.

Twix has inherited her parents’ best traits: from Sunshine, she gets her approachable demeanor and from Amarok, his stunning presence and intelligence. At such a young age, Twix is already showing signs of the same charisma and grace that make her parents so beloved. She will finish around 40 inches.

Currently being introduced to the basics of pony care and socialization, Twix is proving to be a quick learner, eager to please and full of curiosity. She is gentle with children and shows a remarkable willingness to engage with her handlers and trainers.

Twix has already worked a petting zoo and has a strong foundation in all the special pony things needed to be your child’s best friend. She leads well, ties, picks up her feet, knows how to load and ride in a horse trailer, has been blown off with a Big D cattle blower and is used to being washed and pampered. Twix has worn costumes and has had lots of socializing.

Twix is perfect for someone looking to grow with a pony, shaping her into a versatile companion for shows, riding, or simply a beloved family pet. As she matures, we anticipate she will excel in a variety of disciplines, thanks to her excellent lineage and early training. Twix will finish a medium pony expected to be around 11 hands.

With all our ponies veterinary care, hoof care and Coggins if needed for out of state travel are included. They also come with a halter, some of their own hay and grain as well as fully paid and transferred registration. We like to set you off on the right foot. Bonus, you’ll likely become part of the family.
