Meet Penelope, affectionately known as “Penny,” a charming 7-year-old miniature horse mare with a unique pintaloosa coat. Standing just 35 inches tall, Penny has been a standout member of our family at Shooting Star Ponies, capturing hearts with her playful and engaging personality.

Penny’s journey has been filled with adventure and variety. She’s been a star inside the locker room, cheering on the Spokane Indians baseball team, and has delighted many as a favorite in the petting pen, as well as assisting as a therapy pet. Her experience also includes carrying mini riders, and she can be ponied from a full-size horse for family trail rides. Penelope is confident with the big horses and has even lived with a draft horse. There isn’t anywhere Penny won’t follow her favorite person!

Currently, Penny is expanding her skills and has begun learning to drive. While she’s new to this, her enthusiasm and quick learning make every session enjoyable. Bring her back to us in the winter months for training, and we will teach her how to tow a skier, a fun sport known as skijoring.
