Sheza Rare Shooting Star “Phoebe”

Meet Phoebe, our delightful Welara filly, born from the quiet-tempered Arabian mare Amirah and our sprightly and talented Welsh stallion. As a standout member of our family at Shooting Star Ponies, Phoebe embodies the best traits of both her parents: the elegance and spirit of an Arabian combined with the strength and cheerfulness of a Welsh pony. She will make an excellent child’s companion and a competitive mount, as she should mature as a large pony, near 14 hands.

Phoebe is exceptionally smart and friendly. She will thrive with her own person because she does like developing a trust bond before forging out into new territory, but she hasn’t found anyone she doesn’t like. Phoebe is halter broke, will load into a trailer, is comfortable being blow dried with a Big D cattle blower, she knows how to pick up all her feet carefully for a kiddo and she is absolutely a joy to work with. She will have a smoothe comfortable gait and is expected to finish a large pony, close to 14 hands. She is also learning to navigate our trail course with water, tarp and bridge crossings.

With all our ponies veterinary care, hoof care and Coggins if needed for out of state travel are included. They also come with a halter, some of their own hay and grain as well as fully paid and transferred registration. We like to set you off on the right foot. Bonus, you’ll likely become part of the family.

Phoebe is a fan favorite due to her charming personality and playful antics. Known for her intelligence and quick learning ability, Phoebe has captured the hearts of all who meet her. She’s already showing great promise in her training sessions, demonstrating an eagerness to learn and a natural grace in her movements.
